In October we planted a few dozen bulbs around our front door and garden. We now have our first bloom, a small daffodil:
The Snow Peas are flowering and coming in. Right now, they are only a couple inches long and admittedly, pretty cute:
Speaking of cute, here is a miniature broccoli head:
I finished building the coop and have been working on the fence for the last couple weeks:
Here are the next boxes, where the chickens will hopefully lay their eggs. The roofs lifts up so we can grab eggs like a couple of velociraptors:
The chickens will ascend a ramp and enter the coop through a door, which is flanked by the nesting boxes:
The backside has a couple of doors that swing down so that we can easily clean out the coop from time to time. You can see the roosts inside, which are basically sticks that the chickens perch on while they sleep:
And here is my fifty pound bag of synthetic fertilizer. Mmmm...
